If I could give negative stars, I would load them down. Unfortunately, I’ve been in different hospitals around central Arkansas, and Malvern scores beneath the bottom. The ER was great!! They went to work quickly and had me feeling better. Sent upstairs and spent hours so sick while nothing was being done. I was severely dehydrated and received fluids in ER. Hospital doctor said he was restarting. Never put in the orders. I hadn’t kept anything down for days and was in so much pain. Nothing. FOR HOURS! Charged my insurance while doing absolutely nothing but watch me be sick. I used to be a nurse. The doctors I worked for would NEVER put up with behavior like several of the nurses I had the “blessing” to meet. Made me feel like I was faking. Throwing up and diarrhea and the nurse commented that “she says she’s hurting” like she didn’t believe me. After watching all I was going through! Her name was Mary and it’s time for her to retire or be fired. She was in my room and I asked her to look at my IV because it was pinching. Without so much as a glance, she told me there was nothing wrong. Wouldn’t even look!! I finally figured out it was her lousy taping job causing the problem. She came around with night meds and I mentioned my pain med. Her response? “You should have called and asked for that because now I have to walk all the way back to the med room.” She gonna tell me off Because she had to take a few extra steps! After 45 minutes, I still did not receive a simple cup of ice water. I had to get that from a different nurse. She was rude, condescending, and completely made me feel like a burden. She humiliated me in front of another nurse. I ended up leaving AMA because I could not deal with any more incompetence. I did have a nurse named Summer And she was spectacular. So kind and caring and did everything she could to make me feel better. Mary, did everything she could to make sure I didn’t get to feel better. I will die of a heart attack on my way to a different hospital before I go back there! I just got out today 0603 2026. I would not recommend this hospital To anyone. Call the ambulance and go to Hot Springs, Benton, or Little Rock. But, as I said, the ER did a great job. Just don’t end up getting yourself admitted unless you want to feel worse. Dr. Mitchell was very kind and worked to help me. The other doctors, could not have cared less. I’m sure this review will be removed as quickly as I posted it, but just in case it saves one person in the Misery, here it is. I’m also positive that they would deny every single word I’ve said, but I have proof of my poor treatment. I don’t wish anything bad on them, except that I hope Mary gets stuck with a nurse, such as herself. It’s the least she deserves.

These really ignorant people up here don’t know what they’re doing. My sisters experience was not good either a few years back when she was bleeding out of her arm and they messed up her stitches so bad, like a TODDLER did her stitches. They had to transfer her to another hospital because stitching something up was too hard for them. I’m 5 weeks pregnant, took 3 tests and they were positive. I started bleeding yesterday morning and went there so they could “help” me. They basically told me they don’t think I’m 5 weeks pregnant and took a UTI & pregnancy test. They spent around 15 minutes bs ing around laughing in the break room or something. They came back and said the test was negative, maybe because my hormones fluctuating but they said I should go to a bigger hospital for an ultrasound. They just sent me away with no answers and I feel like they didn’t try to help at all.

A special thanks to my nurse, William, He has the patience of a Saint The knowledge of a Doctor The bedside manner of a family member Dr. Blackburn took the time to listen to me and come up with a plan to make me comfortable, and I will be forever grateful The entire team from the front desk check-in, the X-ray tech, the benefit clerk, and all the people I was in contact with were outstanding If I could, I would take the entire team back home to Dallas with me

I want to thank the staff and especially nurses Julie and Marilyn. My brother was inpatient Hospice. They were the most caring, nurturing and attentive staff, that I have witnessed in a very long time. The housekeeper’s and kitchen staff were so kind! I highly recommend to anyone needing inpatient Hospice to this hospital.

If I could rate them lower I would for starters. If you have no insurance, this hospital will treat you like you're filth. I was having signs pointing to some heart issues And it's always safe than sorry to get this checked out, so I did. Rigsby, Elizabeth V, MD, is the doctor who came in my room and when I say she is honestly the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met in my life. I explained my situation or tried too multiple times and she just was not listening to what I had to say or even trying to address my concerns. She was even so rude as to laugh and mock me during the visit. Her notes are also false in the my chart app. She put that they did a thorough check on me, when they literally had me breathe in twice and had a heart monitor on me for maybe 5 minutes. I ended up leaving due to the way she disrespected me. Long story not short, drive a little further maybe hot springs or little Rock and find a hospital that will actually care and take you seriously.
