My father went to the emergency room today. I'm over 800 miles away and have never stepped foot inside this hospital. BUT......the emergency room doctor (Dr. Sharp) spoke to my mother about my dad's condition. She said would you mind if I put my daughter on speaker so she can hear and ask questions. He says give me her phone number, I'll call her. This doctor took the time out of his extremely busy day to call me and relay the info AGAIN to me about my father. He was patient, informative and answered all my questions. Thank you Dr. Sharp! The hospital has a great doctor!!!

Treats invisible illnesses like trash. My sister had a fibromyalgia flare. She went to the er and was given morphine which she should not have been given as morphine exacerbated the flare. After calling her specialist (who diagnosed her) she was told to return. The front desk treated her like garbage kept pushing her chart back and had her sitting in the waiting room from 3 until 8 when she finally blacked out from the pain. Guess this is what happens when those awards go to your head

Absolutely terrible service. Brought a friend into the ER at 12 pm in extreme stomach pain. She had her gallbladder removed here two weeks ago. While in the er we were brought into a room. Outside in the general area another patient was brought in who was extremely irate. The other patient began to scream and yell profanities. The nurse came in and removed use from the room. Literally wheeled us out of the room on a hospital bed and parked us in the hall so they could put the women who was yelling into the room instead. So because we didn’t cause enough of a scene or a problem we were placed in the hall. Mind you my friend was in extreme pain and crying holding her stomach. We sat there for hours! It was not until 8 when we saw someone again!!!!!!!

Went to ER with extreme pain. After waiting 4 hours to see Dr. Sullivan for one minute I was given antibiotics, and when I asked for pain medication I was told no. The whole reason I went was because I was in pain. If you're not going to listen to your patients why did you become a doctor? The triage nurse was great but the nurse that worked with the Dr anything but. I get it, sometimes you have off days because NBI has been working hard to turn this Hospital around and I know personally several of the Dr's and nurses there that are second to none. I brought all my meds including a prescription of pain meds I have and even then I asked for advice on those pain meds and was told no comment because it was a prescription from another Dr of mine. I have seen Dr. Sullivan in the past and she has always treated me better than this, so I am not sure what happened tonight.. I guess I will go home in extreme pain feeling like I cant catch my breath. Update: I increased my rating by one star cause once again I found myself needing your services and your attending Dr. Whitener was super cool, understanding and listened to what I had to say. He worked with me to solve my issue and was very professional about it. I would recommend this Gentleman to everyone as he is truly a great Dr.. I hope to not need ER services, but if I do, I prefer Dr. Whitener. Having said this, NBI has many good Dr.s and nurses. For every positive engagement with NBIs staff I will increase the rating and vise versa with the latter.

Because they decided I didn't have any money they could have claims on, their social worker isnt the first I talked to, but the older lady asked me a ton of personal questions then acted like to the dr it was me, I said I answered your questions. Then with in 2 min I no longer was staying even though I have hives all over my body could be the drug they used didn't even follow the rules on that. From there my face double the size when I left now im itchy from head to toe. I will have to use all my gas just to go to mobile even though I live in this town, im the only parent and they this. I cant afford the medicine even though its 60 dollars they knew my husband was killed in a brutal car accident and then the nurse lied to my face like she had no idea the last hour or so was the only time I wasn't in excruciating pain had to beg for relief for them to come in console me give me medicine finally. 1 anti biotic and not even close to the size given to me when my husband was alive you wanted to life light me last time and now its even bigger when I leave you and my immune system is compromised hives head to toe. That what I received in my time of need. I cried all the way out and the only reason I feel anything good is because that dentist saw me even though it said she needed money. I got more help there and she said if it gets worse to go back in cause this is my life. You could care less about a mom and 3 kids because she only get child support i am hurting thanks for nothing but more problems and the pain you finally freed me from is back. You knew I didn't have the money yet you want me to figure out how to pay. Yeah sounds like you fell down on your oath but then again you got that nice house and you dont care if I die or take the rest of my gas maybe I can make it maybe I cant. Yes I also made a complaint with the hospital. You only care about money Doc and what you look like. Congratulations on making it way worse for us 👏
