My husband had a stroke and received the best care. Everyone was knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. A huge shout out to Lynn the SLP who went above and beyond in providing helpful materials and education! Another shoutout to Austin the stroke coordinator, Dr. Kielman, and RN Albert for being so easy to talk to and staying on top of my husband’s tests! We appreciate everything !
It is important to note that we scheduled a recent toe fusion surgery at Oro Valley hospital because of the positive experiences we've had there. Every person we interacted with on the day of and the days leading up to the surgery was wonderful. we were up for an early morning surgery. the young lady who took all of our information prior to going back for surgical prep was very personable and professional. The nurses in pre op were very efficient, and made me feel completely at ease. the anesthesiologist answered all of my questions, and was a great team partner. The nurse in the recovery room was the same one that took my initial information over the phone prior to surgery. She was a pleasure on the phone initially, and very supportive in what was a very brief recovery. doctor whitiger did his usual extraordinary work, and followed up with a phone call the following morning. As consumers, we all have the choice of doctors, hospitals etc. For our family, the choice of Doctor Whitaker and the Oro Valley hospital was very positive.
Just went in for a quick outpatient surgery. Got checked in quickly and smoothly.. taken back to the prep room, which was very clean and had a warmed up blanket on the bed for me! I only had to wait about 2 hours til surgery but I was checked out frequently were time just flew by. All the staff members there i had interactions with were so kind and smiling. My OR Nurse was fun spirited and had me feel super comfortable as soon as we got into the OR. The recovery nurse was super kind as well and easy to talk to. Overall, my experience was great!!
I was at the surgery center for hand surgery. The staff there was wonderful from start to finish. Everyone was so professional, personable, friendly, and efficient. But what really stood out was how well they worked as a team! Every one of the nurses and doctors seemed to be enjoying themselves and each other, so courteous to one another. It was a very pleasant experience. They made me feel special, cared for and valued. Not a typical hospital experience. I would highly recommend them.
I could not have asked for a better experience. I knew my doctor was phenomenal but everyone I encountered for out patient shoulder replacement kept me at ease. Every nurse was kind, efficient and professional. The anesthesiologist was amazing and seemed truly caring. Dr. Christopher Luther is my orthopedic doctor. I recommend him highly. He is caring and very qualified. I'm completely impressed by every person I encountered.
